Thats right were Ambassadors!!!! Back in November of 2022, we walked by Spurs at Knotts and I saw a Media Event going on. I looked at Jeff and was like next year I will be there! He laughed and said “I honestly know you will!”
Flash forward a few days later they had a call out to “Apply to be an Ambassador!” I felt slightly discouraged because for one my experience didn’t even seem like it was enough. I also come from the small shop world where I worked with influencers not actually an influencer! I got over that sort of like denial because for one I love a challenge, not afraid of rejection just I really wanted it! I know I can do it, I know I can be a different voice. So I shared with one friend, didn’t tell my family and applied.
So a few weeks went by and I got this email that said “On Behalf of the Knott’s Berry Farm Marketing Team…” I literally screamed ran downstairs to tell Jeff. And he wasn’t sure what I was excited about but hugged me. Stopped read the email and was like “WHOA! You did it!!!”
The lesson here is “Just do it!!” Whatever it is you are wanting, reaching for. Do it!! The only thing someone can say is NO!! And thats okay just work to do it again.
So we are Knotts Berry Farm Ambassadors for 2023!! Can’t even express my excitement and gratitude for this experience!!!
