Holidays at Universal Studio Hollywood!

Holidays at Universal Studios Hollywood is going on now till January 1, 2024!!! If you purchase a day ticket and want to turn it into a pass this is an option! Which is so important because you will need more time to explore! Just remember Universal Studios Hollywood is the ultimate holiday shopping destination, with an Annual Pass being the perfect stocking stuffer!!! I’m for sure adding this to my list!!!

Now let’s chat about the Studios!!!! When you arrive on the red carpet you just know it’s going to be a Star-studded show for the whole family to enjoy! Universal Studios offers something for every age group which is important for anyone with families of different ages!

Upon walking into Who-Bilation you are met with the tipsy-turvy “Grinchmas” tree, it’s twisting and turning over 60t ft tall!! You can also have a meet ang greet with the Grinch and the entire Who-ville Who’s!! Be sure to check the app for nightly tree lighting ceremony times! (Ps. There is a beautiful snowfall flurry)

If you are a Universal Passholder you have the opportunity to meet the Grinch at the photo op located at Jurassic Cove above “Jurassic World-the Ride.” The Grinch does take a few breaks so be sure to download the app and grab a bite to eat at the Jurassic Cafe!! (The empanadas + hummus were the perfect snack before we head up to meet the grinch!”

When you head back to Who-Ville be sure to catch Story Time with Cindy-Lou Who and performances by the Who-Bee-Doo-Whop Singers! You can also partake in the make an ornament craft, take photos with the citizens of Who-Ville, purchase a Grinch popcorn bucket, 2 Sizes too small cupcake or the other festive eats!!

If you made it this far well let me just start off by saying download the app so you don’t miss out on “The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts Castle” a must see light show that had me in tears!! I also took about 10942309482 photos and thats okay! Also catch A cappella Frog Choir where Hogwarts students entertain park guests with their harmonized holiday-themed songs. This was an absolute joy and just made me feel I was really part of Hogsmeade!!

To prepare for our big day I made sure to dress us accordingly to our houses. The girls are you can see are Slytherin and Gryffindor. They even wore bows in the secondary color to make sure it was well represented. With Jeff and I being Hufflepuff we wore our House Colors in solid to represent our house. This was important to us so we could make sure our loyalty was represented!

A must not a maybe but an absolute must, stop by “The Three Broomsticks” to get some hot Butterbeer + English Holiday Meal! I do recommend you order on the app to save time and grab a seat by the fireplace close to Hogs Head, it just feels a little more “Witchy” back here.

Upon walking into Hodsmeade, I literally stopped and almost cried because as a child of the 90s reading these books and waiting for the next just transported me into the world I longed to be in!

Skye is the age you get your letter to Hogwarts so it was just so special watching her get her robes, partake in the Olllivander’s. This is a unique interactive experience and see a wand choose a wizard but in this case “witches”!! Both girls were picked and as you can see above it was a “magical moment”!!!

We were given Express Passes which allowed us instant access to the rides in the wizarding world and throughout the park! I highly suggest this as it will allow for more access to everything!!!  I don’t want to give too much away about the rides but walking into Hogwarts I just stopped again on the stairs and started crying! AMAZING!!!

The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts Castle light show was spectacular and I can’t wait to see it again!! Some photos below I took of the show!

Last but not least just a massive wave of photos I just have to share!!!

Thank you Universal Studios Hollywood for inviting us to come experience the Holidays! This was truly an amazing experience we will be back! Be sure to follow on Instagram for updates about the park!!
