Grinchmas 2024: Must-See Highlights at Universal Studios

Have you ever been to Grinchmas at Universal? If not read all about our experience to Who-ville. Get inside information to the must have treats, the characters, crafts and so much more! Grinchmas is back. You don’t want to miss the transformed Universal Plaza on the upper level. Join in on the Who holiday celebrations!

We were invited out by Universal Studios Hollywood to come join in on all the Holiday fun at Who-ville! When we got to the property the girls were so excited to go through the “special entrance”. It’s the little things that bring joy to kids and me too! We were given a gift bag with some goodies. Kennedy was most excited over the Grinch Poof which matched her! Skye was squealing over the Butterbeer cart and candy.

Who-Ville: Treats, Characters, and Must do activities!
When walking into Who-ville you cant miss the towering 65-foot-tall Grinchmas tree! Adorned with lights, ornaments and a snow fall when it comes to life in the evening. We will return to see it, this weekend! It’s absolutely beautiful.

After the wow factor of the tree we bumped into Martha May Who-vier and the Mayor of Who-ville. Both of them had so much to chat about with the girls. Kennedy was dressed as the Grinch ans Skye Cindy-Lou-Who. The Mayor was sure to let her know there was already a Grinch in town! They chatted about a Holiday called “Halloween” but all they care about in Who-ville is Christmas! Great thing because that’s what we came to see!

We made sure to make our first stop to the Who-tacular sweet treats. And let me tell you there were soooo many good ones to try out! And you have to be sure to grab one too when you come visit!

A few of the girls favorites were the “Who-ville Present Cookie” a sugar cookie with a great taste. Not overly sweet and large enough it can be shared. Skye loved the “Heart Grew 3 Sizes Sugar Cookie” It had peppermint candy cane chunks on the back! That made for a great crunch to a typical sugar cookie. All 3 of us absolutely loved the “Who Pudding”, let me tell you absolutely amazing!!!!! This was our favorite and we will have to come back to get this in particular!

After we indulged in treats, filmed some content as the girls were overloaded with sugar. We jumped in line to meet Max. The crossed over to the theme craft area to make a paper ornament. At first the girls were going to leave them but felt so attached they took it home with them. Little girls are so attached to their artwork.

Before we ventured to meet the Grinch the girls got to chat with the one and only Cindy-Lou-Who. She was so sweet and gave the girls pointers on how to talk to the Grinch. What not to say and maybe Kennedy could visit him on Mount Crumpit. She talked about her dress, asked the girls some fun and engaging questions. I love that the characters make your kids feel special and talk to them. Do take advantage and chat with them!

For our last stop on our Grinchmas Creator Day, we went to meet the Grinch himself! We were in line and the girls had so many questions and ideas for the Grinch. They were excited and although we waited a tad bit, hanging with my girls was the best part! So here we are inching towards our turn and let me tell you core memories made!

Kennedy and the Grinch planned on ways to take over Who-ville. He showed Kennedy how to make the signature faces. He then talked with my very own Cindy-Lou-Who (Skye) and used her as stool to lean on. When you meet the Grinch have your phone and camera ready! He’s so unpredictable and total grump.

Thank you to Universal Studios Hollywood for making these moments possible! If you want to to visit Universal Studios Hollywood you still have time to join in on the Who-bilation. Grinchmas is running till January 6th and trust me it’s not one you want to miss!! Get your tickets here: purchase here!! Better yet make it a pass, as low as $199 and you can use “Flex Pay”. It’s a great way to enjoy the Park not just for the Holiday but the whole year.

My final thoughts about Grinchmas… it’s the absolute best! If your little ones love the movie, whether it is the cartoon or live action, you have to come. The character interactions will surely leave your kids with magical memories. There are treats to satisfy even the sweetest of sweet tooth. There is truly something for the whole family.
