It’s that time of year again the Annual Peanuts Celebration is back at Knott’s Berry Farm! This year, it’s extra special because the beloved Peanuts Comic Strip turns 75 years old! And of course, Knott’s is going all out to celebrate in style.

Starting today, February 8th, and running through March 9th, there’s so much to see and do every weekend. Make sure to download the Knott’s Berry Farm app for the latest schedules and updates. While weather can affect some showtimes, there’s always something fun to enjoy!

Here’s a sneak peek at the must see events at the Peanuts Celebration. We’ll start with the exciting new experiences. Then, we’ll touch on some returning favorites!

NEW! The Life and Art of Charles M. Schulz – Calico Town Hall

This brand new exhibit in Calico Town Hall is a must see! Dive into the life and legacy of Charles M. Schulz, learn about his creative inspiration, and explore the world of the Peanuts Gang. You can even try your hand at creating your own comic strip with provided pens and paper. And don’t forget to check out the short film about Schulz’s journey. Plus, there are adorable photo ops that are perfect for snapping some memories!

NEW! Let’s Celebrate – Calico Mine Stage

We didn’t get to see this new show due to a power outage at the park, but we’ve heard great reviews from the Knott’s team! This musical tribute celebrates Peanuts’ 75th Anniversary with Snoopy, Charlie Brown, a talented crew of singers, and dancers putting on an unforgettable performance. We’re planning to return next weekend to catch it ourselves, so stay tuned for more updates!

Peanuts Sketch School – Bird Cage Theatre

This is a fan favorite, especially for families! At Peanuts Sketch School, you can learn how to draw your favorite Peanuts characters. Little ones can sit on the rugs with the sketch artist (just be sure to arrive early to snag a spot), while adults can take a seat in the white chairs. Supplies like paper and pencils are provided, and the art teacher will guide you step by step to create the “Character of the Hour!” It’s a fun way to tap into your inner artist!

Pigpen’s Pig Pen – Livery Stable

One of our favorite family spots! Pigpen is back, and he’s brought some adorable new piglets to join him in the stable. But that’s not all there are even more barn animals to meet! After hanging out with the animals, don’t forget to stop by Pigpen’s line to meet him in person. Snap a photo with your favorite characters, and don’t forget to ask the Knott’s Photo Associate to capture the moment!

Peanuts on the Go Cavalcade – Charleston Circle

This mini dance party is the surprise fun you didn’t know you needed! Swing by Charleston Circle to catch Charlie Brown and the Peanuts Gang driving by, then stop for a dance break. It’s for all ages so whether you’re 5 or 50, everyone is invited to jump in and learn the dance moves. Afterward, be sure to grab a photo with your favorite characters before they head off to their next adventure!

Peanuts’ Cowboy Jamboree – Calico Park

This is a total hit with our family! A KBF Host will welcome you with a lively Cowboy Jamboree song. Afterward, kids can join in on a little dance. The fun continues with Franklin and Linus, who join the games afterward. Kids can try their hand at a variety of fun activities. There’s no limit to how many times they can play! After the games wrap up, Franklin and Linus stick around for a photo op. It’s one of those experiences you won’t want to miss!

Snoopy’s Legendary Rooftop Concert – Calico Mine Stage

The fun doesn’t stop when the sun goes down! Head to the Calico Mine Stage for a lively rooftop concert. The Jelly of the Month Club is an indie band that will have you dancing all night long. The Peanuts gang will join in too, making it an unforgettable performance that will leave you grooving under the stars!

Food, Desserts & Character Meet & Greets

Of course, no celebration is complete without delicious food and desserts, and Knott’s has you covered! We got a chance to try out some amazing items from the Peanuts Menu Guide, thanks to Knott’s for providing us with food vouchers to sample the offerings. Over the course of three stops, we discovered some tasty treats that are perfect for fueling your day of fun at the park!
